I found a German book at the thrift store and mod podged them to a plain sheet of paper then mixed the mod podge with a bit of brown paint, painted it on and quickly wiped it off to age it a little. Then I painted some poppies on it and stuck 'er in a frame.
Any thoughts?

Hello Jill, I came across your blog from another. I have read some of your post and really enjoyed them. I really really like this poppie picture you do how clever. I have never worked with mod podge I will have to try it. As for needing something I love it how it is, if you did mat it I would do maybe cream or white nothing to take away from the picture.
